Overfitting

In trading context, overfitting is the process of designing a trading model that adapts closely to historical data that it becomes unsuccessful in the future. Overfitting your strategy gives traders false confidence that their strategy will be effective. 

Don’t invest unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment and you should not expect to be protected if something goes wrong.
